Unit 6 Team Meeting

Unit 6 Team Meeting

Q Introduction Your team project spans Units 2-8 of this course. Below you will find the information regarding the project. Modalities • Online Students • Blended Students Guidelines for Online Students' Team Meetings Online Team Meetings Purpose • Student teams are expected to meet at least once per unit. • The Project Manager (PM) will prepare an agenda and share it with team members prior to the meeting. • The meeting must be conducted at some point during the unit, which runs from Monday through Sunday. This will allow ample flexibility to accommodate work schedules and the geographic location of the participants (domestic or international). • It is expected that the meeting will last a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour depending on the level of group and individual preparation; however, there is no artificial limitations on the length of time the team can participate in the meeting. Technology • Each team will utilize Zoom to conduct and record team meetings. • Zoom permits the sharing of one’s computer screen, which makes it possible to use this meeting as an actual work session. There is no long distance charge associated with using Zoom. • Refer to Using Zoom: StudentsLinks to an external site. for more information on the conferencing tool. • Record your online meeting. • Save the recording to desktop in .mp4 format. • Rename the recording in this format “CourseTermYear#_Team#_Week#Meeting.” o E.g. HA518DLS12019_Team2_Week2Meeting • Submit the recording to the Team Meeting Assignment. Grading • Your instructor will grade team meetings based on the recording and self-assessments (detailed below). • Failure to record any of these mandatory meetings will adversely affect the PM and team members’ grade, which will be assigned by the faculty at the end of this unit. Due Dates • Record and submit online meeting by Sunday at 11:59 P.M., CT. • Complete the self-assessment survey by Sunday at 11:59 P.M., CT.
